Davido claims DJ Maphorisa hates him following the DJ’s statement on Wizkid being the first Nigerian artist on an Amapiano sound.
Wiz dropped a new Amapiano song this Wednesday and it’s garnered lots of attention due to the current tension between Nigerian and South African artists due to the aforementioned genre.
Taking to Twitter, Maphorisa corrected a tweep who said the If hitmaker was the first to import piano to Nigeria and make the genre successful.
“Kabza & Maphorisa was the first to put Wizkid n Burnaboy on an amapiano song Sponono that was a historical moment 3 years ago, research before tweet also it was the first time Wiz n Burna jumped on the same song together let it sink in,” Phori said.
Davido stumbled on Maphorisa’s tweet and said the producer never likes him despite treating him well.
