Popular Mzansi actress and DJ, Thulisile Phongolo is trending on Twitter following her collaboration with Mas Musiq on the Amapiano track, “Ubuhle Bakho.”
Known primarily for her acting career, Thuli P has successfully transitioned into the music scene as a DJ and is now expanding her repertoire by working with other artists.
However, tensions have been high since the controversy surrounding Samthing Soweto’s lack of credit on Mas Musiq’s previous track, “Amalanga Awafani.”
DJ Maphorisa came under fire on social media, as many believe he played a role in exploiting the singer.
This Friday, Mas Musiq dropped a new single, “Ubuhle Bakho,” featuring DJ Maphorisa and Thuli P.
The release sparked outrage on social media, with users accusing Maphorisa of favoritism, claiming that his past relationship with Thuli is the reason she was credited over Samthing Soweto.
