Forever’, the first single to the upcoming ‘ForPlay’ EP by condom and personal lubricant brand Durex SA, was revealed at an exclusive launch hosted at The Venue – Green Park – in Morningside last week.
Blxckie performed ‘FOREVER’ with left field rapper Mx Blouse before delivering his hit-laden set.
Speaking on the song, Blxckie told SlikourOnLife:
“It was one of the last songs we did. Muzi came and he said I got this beat. I think Mx Blouse was already on it, and all I had to do was add my flair, singing vibes. They were rapping and if someone’s rapping on a song, I gotta be different.”
Also performing on the night were Nanette and Yolophonik, artists who have contributed to the Durex ‘ForPlay’ EP.
Other artists that contributed to the ‘ForPlay’ EP include Muzi, Money Badoo, Tshego, Gemma Fassie, Mx Blouse, Thando Nje, Una Rams, Musa Keys and Ricky Tyler.
The idea behind the production of the EP was driven by Durex’s mission to find ways to merge the worlds of music and sexual liberation – where everyone can be their authentic sexual self.
