Emtee has had one of the most progressive years possible as we have seen him steadily transition from being a signed artist to a fully independent artist. This is reflected by the body of works he has released from the likes of ‘DIY 2’ to ‘Logan’. These two projects showcased various sides of Emtee as he highly experimented with sounds that moved the nation such as ‘Wave’ and ‘Long way’.
He then took a sudden break from releasing his own music as he fully focused on growing his label by pushing his signee, Lollinative. This though didn’t stop him from doing features as he gave us memorable verses in the past year through ‘Bigger Than Me’ with A-Reece and ‘Born To Win’ with Nasty C. These singles have touched many as we saw a rekindle of relationships as well as new work from him the respective parties as they haven’t released music together in years.
He is now gearing up for the release of his forthcoming project ‘DIY 3’ and this time around he has availed an opportunity for Graphic Designers to not only create a stunning art cover for the project but then for them to also get paid. This competition has been running since last December as he has been sharing potential artworks that could win depending on the votes and feedback from the audience so if you happen to be a graphic designer and are interested in making yourself a bit money whilst growing your portfolio then this is the competition for you.
