Emtee gives more detailed explanation on why his DIY 3 album has been delayed.
The South African rapper, real name Ndevu Mthombeni called out Empire record label on social media over the weekend.
Emtee ranted in series of post, but the one that garnered lots of attention, was a post where he compared his experience at Ambitiouz with the new label, which is Empire.
The rapper was initially excited about the partnership with the music company, but his joy has been made sour.
“I’ve been signed to an empire for approximately 365 days now. I can’t remember one thing that has been done for me by them. I organise my own shows, people steal from me so they laugh and say “he lost it all” nah bitch, you stole from me,” he wrote.
“Back to the actuality story. The night before meeting the CEO which was 365 days ago. My supporters, family, friends and colleagues have been asking me about this album.”
“This has to be the worst moment in my life. I can’t post anything without being asked by millions supporters about the album. Ambitious was hell but they didn’t keep me waiting for a whole year to even give a Fuck about me,” he concluded.
Emtee cries out for help on Twitter, stating that he is not lazy; he just needs a good team that will not steal from him
