Mthembeni Ndevu popularly known as Emtee says he’s given up on his dreams of winning an international award.

It is most musicians’ dream to bag a win at prestigious awards, especially at the international level.

Ndevu who once craved a BET and Grammy win says he doesn’t care about such awards anymore.

“@emteerecords is it still your dream to win a Grammy or Bet Award?” a fan questioned.

Another fan expressed disappointment in the rapper’s reply, as it is presumed he has lots of younger musicians looking up to him.

The Pearl Thusi hitmaker further emphasized his response.

“I wanna stay alive bruh. Yall tripping! I’m a father of 3 now. I can do anything I put my mind to IF I’M ALIVE. Yall knows I almost lost my mind dealing with all these thieves, hooligans, and sons of bitches who enjoy making my life a living hell,” he wrote.
