Musician Dr Malinga’s fans have rallied behind him as he goes through financial woes.
His interview on the Podcast and Chill with MacG and Sol Phenduka on Thursday, 8 September, touched the hearts of many citizens in Mzansi. This after the musician spoke about his ups and downs in the industry.
The 42-year-old, whose real name is Goodwill Malinga, shared how painful it was to help others while they would not help him during his hard times.
Dr Malinga took to Twitter and wrote: “Here are my details again, thank you for showing me love.

This follows the story of the South African Revenue Service repossessing his belongings over the money he was owed.
The Via Orlando hitmaker said things were not easy for him as he thought some musicians who help him pay the tax. And when none bothered, this left him hurt.
Dr Malinga said it was not easy seeing his assets being sold at a lesser price than what he had bought them for.
The musician even shed a tear on the podcast while sharing his ordeal.
Fans took it upon themselves to see where they could help him rebuild himself.
They asked for information on where to donate money so he could start over again.
Innocent Masuku wrote: “Dr Malinga, my big brother. I know the pain you are going through. I know the pain of losing everything and starting over. Please be strong. Everything will pass.”
Then Optimus sent the musician cash into his account, commenting: “Your story was moving, man. I hope this little will help.”
Lammy added: “I’m so sorry for what your are going through; here is a little something.”
Then Bushy Given said: “I hope you recover from this soon. This is my donation.”
