Netflix hosted the launching of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story in South Africa on Sunday, 16 April.
The series, written and produced by Shonda Rhimes, is a prequel spin-off about Queen Charlotte – a fan-favourite character portrayed by accomplished Guyanese-British actor Golda Rosheuvel.
Celebrities who graced the event tried to dress in accordance with the theme.
“Taking place at the Quion Rock Estate in Stellenbosch, the spectacular backdrop was the perfect canvas for a colourful afternoon of royal treatment and period drama,” Glamour wrote.
