Gogo Maweni has once again sparked controversy, this time for allegedly performing a shocking act of witchcraft during a televised episode of Thokoza Gogo.
The sangoma has frequently denied accusations of witchcraft, but a recent segment on her show has reignited the debate with full force.
A viral image currently doing the rounds online shows a pig wearing a pair of women’s underwear, which allegedly belonged to a woman accused of having an affair with one of Maweni’s client’s partners.
The picture, originally shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @mbali_ndlela, left many stunned, with the caption reading:

The footage and images have caused an uproar, with social media users weighing in on everything from the ethics of public spiritual acts to Maweni’s long-standing reputation.
