In continuation of his consultations, Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke was on Thursday paid a surprise visit to the Ibadan based illustrious son of Osun HRH Oba Olatunde Oginni JP at his De Executive Suite, University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

The Governor after leaving the campaign ground of Atiku/Okowa’s rally in Ibadan stormed the premises of the guest house to fete with the business mogul where he held a brief meeting after inspecting the newly refurbished hospitality facility.

Oba Oginni JP in his remarks to newsmen during the Governor’s visit saluted the political trajectory of Gov. Adeleke describing the sixth Executive Governor of Osun State with the Yoruba adage that says, “The head that will wear a crown may wear cap for 40 years but will eventually be crowned a king.”

“I appreciate his sense of commitment to duty as his administration has demonstrated a high sense of urgency, transparency, justice and innovation in tackling and solving the problems of poverty and poor infrastructure that he met while coming into office in the last few months.”

Oba Oginni however, urged the governor not to be on a vendetta mission against his perceived political opponents, but to be focused on good governance, saying “there’s a lot to do to bring Osun State out of its economic doldrums and governance quagmire”.
