Hailey Bieber is looking back on her health crisis last year. The model was hospitalized in March of 2022 after suffering a Transient Ischemic Attack or TIA, known as a mini-stroke, due to a small blood clot in her brain. She was later diagnosed with PFO, a congenital heart defect where there’s a passageway between the left and right atria of the heart.
The 26-year-old model – who was admitted to the hospital with stroke-like symptoms caused by a blood clot in her brain – detailed the scary experience in The Run-Through With Vogue podcast released Friday.
She said: ‘I struggled with a lot of anxiety after. I struggled with a little bit of PTSD [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] of just like the fear of maybe it was gonna happen again. It was just a feeling that I was, like, I never want to experience that ever again. I mean, it was so terrifying, so jarring, so discombobulating in every single way that you could imagine
