AKA

AKA was shot and killed in front of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban on Friday, 10th of February 2023.

Hours before he got assassinated the rapper updates his social media followers with details about his move by tagging the places he visited.

The information he released was believed to have made his killing quick.

People in SA and across frowned at celebrities sharing their location, as it is not safe.

However, AKA’s friend, Philani Kweyama explained that the rap star was trying to promote different businesses in Durban which was why he shared his location.

“He called me earlier in the day and said, ‘Benni I know you got a new spot, let’s go check it out. I want to go cut my hair at your place. I keep hearing about the food and the fish at your place, I want to come eat at your place. Benni, don’t worry, today I’m going to promote your business, I’m going to post’.

“That’s why if you look at it he was all like that. He was there to support all of us, he was there to support Durban,” he said during an eNCA live broadcast.
