Popular Mzansi actress and rapper Anele Zondo has taken self-love to a whole new level with her latest move. In a surprising and empowering twist, she proposed to herself, showing off an expensive ring in a video.
The video, captioned “I Said Yes,” captures Zondo in pure joy as she slides the dazzling ring with 2.4 carats onto her finger. The gesture, though unconventional, is a bold statement of self-empowerment and a reminder to everyone that love and commitment to oneself should come first.
The singer and TV personality shared the video on her Instagram account and it’s garnered lots of attention.
The self-proposal comes a few months after Anele Zondo welcomed her first child; though she’s kept the identity of the baby daddy secret.
“This year has been filled with surprises, and interesting twists and turns and I look at myself in the mirror and admire the woman I have become. So I wanted to gift myself with something that I can look at and feel that essence a “pretty promise” & a commitment to myself. I say yes to being the best version of myself everyday,” she captioned post.
