Producer and DJ, J-Smash is set to drop a collaborative EP with K.Keed titled ‘Izandla’. The 5-song project is set to drop this Thursday.
J-Smash recently took to socials to share the official cover art and tracklist for the upcoming project.
Last month, the duo released a lead single titled ‘Lonke’ featuring Yolophonik ahead of the EP.
In the single, K.Keed shows off her versatility as she switched up from rapping over trap beats with her distinguishable rap style and flows, to showing off her vocals over an electronic deep house instrumental.
In the song, K.Keed delves into matters of the heart and expresses that she wants all the love from her significant other. “Ndilufuna lonke uthando lakho”, she croons.
The beat consists of muted basslines, spacious use of percussion elements and soft keyboard sounds. K.Keed tops it off with her soulful vocals.
