South African influencer Kefilwe Mabote shared details about her past marriages and relationships in the latest season of Young, Famous & African.

In 2023, she took to social media to announce that her lobola had been paid, sharing a video of herself dressed as a makoti (a bride in traditional attire) standing beside a cow.
While she chose not to reveal her husband’s identity, the now-deleted post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and followers.
However, on the reality show, Kefilwe disclosed that she and her husband have separated.
The award-winning fashion influencer revealed that she met her ex-husband in a club, where he asked her to become his second wife—an offer she accepted. She emphasized that their union was recognized traditionally but expressed her disappointment that it ultimately ended.
Reflecting on her journey, Kefilwe admitted feeling disheartened by the repetitive cycles in her love life. Despite the setbacks, she remains hopeful and open to finding love again.
