Kelvin Momo warns against scammers

Amapiano sensation Kelvin Momo is speaking out after scammers began falsely claiming to represent him, duping fans and event promoters out of their money.

The artist, whose real name is Thato Ledwaba, recently took to social media to clarify that any bookings not made through his verified channels are fraudulent.

The star urged everyone to be vigilant, especially when approached by unknown contacts.

In his statement, he warned, “We’d like to bring to your attention that there have been reports of individuals falsely claiming to represent Kelvin Momo for bookings. In particular, please be cautious of any communication from the number 060 183 2350.”

Kelvin Momo emphasized that Tsquared Productions is his only official booking agency and advised fans and promoters to refer to the contact details listed on his Instagram bio.

He added, “This person is not authorised to take bookings on behalf of Kelvin Momo. Please note that Kelvin Momo’s booking agency is Tsquared Productions.”

The musician is determined to protect his name from being tarnished by impersonators and to ensure that supporters do not fall victim to these scams.

Similar issues have affected other artists in the industry, including DJ Zinhle and DJ Tira, who have also cautioned the public against fraudsters misusing their names.
