“King of Joburg” season 2 to be premiered on Netflix in 2023
The premiere date of King of Joburg season 2 has been confirmed alongside its trailer.
Netflix SA and Connie Ferguson shared both details about the series on their official Instagram account.
27th of January has been announced as the premiere date of the much-anticipated series.
“Things are never as they seem in the city of Gold. #KingsOfJoburg Season 2 comes to Netflix on 27 January,” Connie wrote.
The news excites people but it’s reminded many of the late Shona Ferguson who was a lead actor in the series.
Shona confirmed the renewal of the film for season 2 but he died on the 3oth of July 2021, due to Covid complications.
Tributes have been sent to the late star as many anticipate the premiere of the new season.
