L-Tip is back with yet another ‘Tip Flip’ freestyle feature video as he raps over Jay-Z’s ‘Renegade’ instrumental. The freestyle taps into a variety of factors that have contributed to the man he is today such as the sacrifices he had to make to get to where he currently is in life as well as the lost individuals in this world that try to find themselves in the wrong environments as they become misguided by certain ways of the world.
This is a pretty dope freestyle as he mixes his mother tongue (isiXhosa) with English as well as the ‘mafia’ aesthetic he set out with the lightly lit cigar and his bottle of ‘Gentlemen Jack Daniels’ with his black suit blazer. You are bound to be left deep in your thoughts as L-Tip challenges the thinking of all his listeners through his lyricism.
This serves as his third Tip-Flip of the year as he continues to freestyle over the best Hip-Hop tracks to ever be released.
