Fresh off performing with Earl Sweatshirt at Rocking The Daisies, the South African jazz band, Kujenga, drops a new EP titled ‘Common Ground’.
“‘Common Ground’ is a small collection of songs written and inspired by different traditions of African music. It was recorded live in the church halls of Roodebloem Studio as part of Kujenga’s collaboration with Art Club & Friends in May 2025. The message behind this EP is simply about reasserting our connection to the continent and the diaspora, by celebrating the rich cultural contributions from fellow Africans.” – Kujenga via Bandcamp
