Maglera Doe Boy has finally landed us some heated visuals for his single ‘Makazana’. This follows the release of his album ‘Diaspora’ of which features the likes of Ason, Focalistic and 25k just to name a few. These have to be the hottest visuals to drop today as you can tell that they have done the undone in SA when it comes to Music Video. The visuals were directed by the talented Shaun Headger of which I believe is the future when it comes to visual content. He has continued to show his abilities through every visual that has received his touch and continues to extend what he can do as this is seen in the ‘Makazana’ Music Video. The Music Video was produced by ADORE STUDIOS and without a doubt they left no surface unscratched when it came to production from the VFX to the editing style to the composing of the storyline in a visual form.
‘Makazana’ has received the visual treatment it needed as it resembles the core message that the songs stands for of which is ‘Peace’ and finding light through the bumpy journey we might walk in. The culture rich visuals represent his neighbourhood Maglera as he takes us on a journey to explore where he grew up and what you are bound to experience. This is a continued journey by Maglera himself through his Music.
The ‘Makazana’ Music Video premiered on MTV Base today before dropping on YouTube of which also features cameo appearance from the likes of TopGogg, Halo Yagami, Marcus Harvey and Primo just to name a few. Each scenery and cameo added flavour to the visuals as they brought energy and ‘old-school swag’ with the formal attire and well-lit cigars representing sophistication at its very own best.
