Makhadzi was the star of the event at Metro FM Music Awards 2025.
The South African singer won the Artist of the Year award at the event, which held on Saturday night.
Taking to social media, Makhadzi announced the win; she wrote: “AND METRO FM ARTIST OF THE YEAR GOES TO , MAKHADZIiiiii Vhayazwifuna na vhonyamukadi.”
Fans flooded the post with congratulatory messages, and said she desrves the win following months of hardwork.
She further shared a video of herself excitedly dancing following the win.
