Maps Maponyane has been announced as the newest host for Mzansi Magic show, Mzansi Icons.
The show celebrates and honours living legends in different industries.
Mzansi Icons sees guests, which include kwaito legend and businessman Kabelo Mabalane, sports executive Jessica Motaung, musician and entrepreneur Khuli Chana and marketing guru Zibusiso Mkhwanazi, discuss what makes them tick, what it took for them to get to where they are, and some of the lessons they learned along the way.
“South Africans love their media personalities, and the opportunity to get to know them – in their own words – is one we know audiences will enjoy,” M-Net’s director of local entertainment channels Shirley Adonisi said.
“With a host who has shown his reliability and is versatile enough to dive deep into topics as deftly as he can keep things light, audiences will have a new show to add to their list of Mzansi Magic favourites.”
