Moja Love shows support for Cyril Ramaphosa

Moja Love has publicly applauded President Cyril Ramaphosa and his delegation following their recent high-profile meeting with US President Donald Trump.

The engagement, held at the White House, was framed as a pivotal step in challenging false narratives about South Africa, especially around land reform and claims of violence targeting white farmers.

Aubry Tau, CEO of Moja Love, hailed the meeting as a much-needed intervention to restore global confidence in South Africa.

“This was more than a diplomatic visit; it was a moment of national clarity,” he said.

“The message was simple: South Africa is not a failed state. We are fighting back against misinformation, and we’re serious about rebuilding global trust and attracting investment.”

Tau went on to say the meeting served as a wake-up call about the importance of active diplomacy, especially when the country’s global image is at stake.

“It’s about opening doors for investment, boosting confidence in our economy, and showing the world that South Africa is ready to do business with integrity,” he added.

The South African delegation featured government ministers alongside notable figures such as businessman Johann Rupert and professional golfers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.

According to Tau, Rupert played a particularly key role in directly challenging the controversial narrative of a “white genocide” in South Africa—an issue that has sparked international debate.

Tau emphasized that Moja Love supports initiatives that promote truth and accountability.

“As a channel, we tell the stories that matter. We fight for accountability, dignity, and progress, especially for those left behind,” he said.

“This delegation didn’t just represent the government. They represented us, the people. And for that, they deserve our respect.”

He also urged government to step up efforts in launching strategic media campaigns to combat the ongoing spread of misinformation about the country on global platforms.
