In a tragic turn of events, another prominent Zimbabwean music promoter was killed in South Africa.
Ishmael Nkata, often known as Mandebvu due to his bushy beard, was fatally shot in Capetown on Friday evening.
On Saturday, the entertainment website earGround reported his demise.
Nkata, in addition to being a music promoter, also operated The Gardens, a Capetown venue where Zimbabwean musicians played live.
