Kingdom Kroseide, Nigerian Idol ‘Season 6’ winner and the second runner-up, Akunna Okechukwu, have secured endorsement deals.

In a show of confidence towards Nigerian talents, Expand Global Industries Limited (EGIL), makers of WAW and Nittol detergents and bar soaps, signed Kingdom and Akunna as brand ambassadors of its products.

Speaking on the new deal, Kingdom appreciated the EGIL management for the opportunity while thanking God for making it possible. Nigerian Idol Season 6 winner promised to be a worthy ambassador of the brand.

For Akunna, she is super excited, honoured and privileged to have been chosen to be a part of the EGIL family. According to Akunna, she looks forward to the partnership as it unfolds and is ready to make the relationship worthwhile for both parties.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the Managing Director of EGIL, Rajat Kapur said the endorsement is a demonstration of their commitment to sustainably support local talents, and the youthfulness and vibrancy of Kingdom and Akunna endeared them to the brand.

“This signing is a win-win relationship between both parties as it will help the new ambassadors grow their careers, while they energise EGIL products.

“EGIL is a subsidiary of Henkel in Nigeria. In 2016, Henkel acquired a majority stake in EGIL which has now become a 100 percent subsidiary of Henkel,” he said.
