Nota sparks debate after revealing his SA hip hop Big 3

Music executive Nota Baloyi, known for his outspoken views on the South African hip-hop scene, stirred up conversation once again with his latest declaration on Twitter.

Nota revealed his “Big 3” South African rappers, naming A-Reece, Nasty C, and Blxckie as the top-tier artists dominating the country’s rap game.

In his tweet, Nota simply wrote, “Big 3… A-Reece, Nasty C & Blxckie!” sparking a mix of reactions from fans and followers.

While some agreed with his selection, others were quick to voice their opinions, calling attention to other prominent rappers they felt deserved a spot on the list.

Among the names mentioned were Emtee and Maglera Doe Boy, with fans arguing that their contributions to the genre have also been significant and should not be overlooked.

Supporters of Nota’s Big 3 commended his choices, noting the undeniable impact A-Reece, Nasty C, and Blxckie have had on the evolution of South African hip-hop.

Each artist has carved a unique path, from A-Reece’s lyricism and independent hustle to Nasty C’s international success and Blxckie’s meteoric rise in the industry.
