NOTBENJAMIN is one multi-talented creative that has been paving the way for numerous creatives in the music space through his established event properties in hearts of Braamfontein such as Street Fest of which has been hosted 7 Times thus far and has received heavy love from the youth. He has constantly continued to create safe spaces for other artists to collaborate and perform without the worry of being judged and that for me is an individual that is on a mission that’s above him in a sense that he is doing bigger and greater things ahead of time without him even seeing it.
To those that know him will tell you that it doesn’t end there he is also known for having amazing storytelling visuals alongside an all collaborative tape titled, ‘NOTBENJAMIN & FRIENDS’ of which featured many of industry favourites such as KashCPT, Indigo Stella, Belo Salo, Blxckie, Ason and Priddy Ugly just to name a few. The 24 Track Tape is a standout project as it is very much experimental and if anything you get a full on superstar roster in one project.
Nonetheless, on the tape one of the singles, titled ‘Sound The Alarm’ with Money Badoo, Flow Jones And Sauwcy and this single has received the sickest visualiser to day, its as if you are in a video game but with a reenactment of the ‘Street Fest stage’. These visuals are crazy as no one has done such of a visualiser in South Africa. They remind me of the ‘Tomb Raider’ video game with how well detailed the environment and characters are.
