Known for her fiery bars and her collaboration with Converse is Singer and Songwriter, Nyota Parker as she makes a return to the music scene with a new single titled ‘Yours’. This follows her first sold out show in her hometown, Cape Town as well as the release of her album ‘Spectrum Deluxe’ of which serves as the deluxe edition of her 2021 album ‘Spectrum’.
The single ‘Yours’ is her first single of the year of which is accompanied by a mini-music video. The single simply speaks on remaining positive throughout all the challenges you face when going after your dreams as you will bump into some problems that will slightly hold you back but then it is for you to be able to keep it together and believe that it will all work out at some point. The song further embraces the drive to work hard and the understanding that our journeys will be different to others so stay consistent and have faith all the time. It takes one small step to make all things happen as everything is possible, all you need to do is believe.
The mini music video was shot by her mum in her bedroom as we explore Nyota Parker’s space and all she does is motivate us. Each shot is so raw as it further expresses the message she is transpiring through the single. It is without a doubt a must check out as you will be left inspired to push throughout the year.
