Sunday Olapade, one of Nigeria’s current sensational professional golfer has hailed his new sponsors Kawai Technologies for the confidence reposed in him before and during the Libreville Open Golf Championship.
Olapade in Libreville, Gabon made the statement on Monday in a post tournament interview with SOKOnnect while dwelling on the Libreville Open where he posted a scintillating performance to finish second on -10, two shots behind first placed, Vincent Torgah, -12.
Olapade played 73, 66, 71, 68 over four days in the Championship which teed off on Thursday June 2 and was rounded off on Sunday June 5 at the.Golf Club du Mindoube in Libreville the Gabon capital.
Thus, he said, “For now I’m pretty happy about my game, because I’m swinging very well; I’m excited about it and my vote of thanks goes to Kawai Technologies for the sponsorship to the 37th Libreville Open golf Championships here in Gabon.’
“Without Kawai Technologies, I won’t be here; hence, my thanks also goes to the CEO of Kawai Technologies and Kawai logo is the first branding logo that I will had on my shirt and my cap.
“Since my professional golf career, I’ve never been so happy because of the sponsorship; God bless Kawai Technologies; God bless my individual sponsorship as well for the part they have played in my golf career; I so much appreciate everyone,” Olapade concluded.
