Open Mic demands apology from Makhadzi

Makhadzi and Open Mic Productions’ fight is far from settling as the music company demands an apology and retraction of a statement by Friday.

The singer revealed days ago that the label renewed the contract without her consent; it was said that she signed an autorenewal contract three years ago.

However, Makhadzi isn’t pleased with the action taken by the label and she’s gone legal against them.

Things took a different turn after the music company served the Ma Gear hitmaker a legal letter demanding she apologized for false statements made; it was also disclosed by the label that she was paid R8 million.

Open Mic said she wasn’t treated like a slave and that she was paid.
