Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is set to represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the 2nd Extraordinary Summit of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government on the political situation in the Republic of Guinea.
This was disclosed on Thursday morning by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande.
The Vice President who leaves Abuja this morning would be accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister of State, Ambassador Zubairu Dada and is expected back later today.
Osinbajo participated last week at the previous ECOWAS Extraordinary Summit on the political situation in Guinea and Mali.
The physical meeting taking place today will review the situation in Guinea in light of the report of the ECOWAS high-level mission to Conakry
