A-Reece has dropped a new joint titled ‘Achilles’. In the track, Reece confirms that his long delayed ‘Paradise 2’ project, which was meant to drop in July, will be released after his tour.
“I’m in your chambers, burning the scrolls/ Destroying everything you own, I’m like Achilles in Troy/ ‘P2’ coming soon, its time to silence the noise,” he raps. “Wanted to drop it in July to fuck you up even more/ But I know Jody got you first, I got go on this tour”
The cover art curated by Its1997again draws inspiration from Italian polymath of High Renaissance, painter Leonardo da Vinci who Reece references in his first verse.
The boastful track sees A-Reece showcase his signature sound over a free-base flow beat. His lyrical prowess is evident through his polished penmanship.
In the song, A-Reece also addresses people who are against his style of rapping and affirms haters of his major influence on this generation despite how they feel.
“They say he’s got an accent when he raps, it sounds like he’s American /He should be rapping in his own language, he ain’t African American, he’s African.”
“Man, what’s with the long faces you should be happy I made it/ Look at the influence I have on this generation.”
