Sfiso Ndlovu apologises to Uncle Vinny over defamation

Podcaster Sfiso Ndlovu issues an apology to Uncle Vinny for defaming him on a recent episode of Piano Pulse, a podcast under the Podcast and Chill network.

Vinny had demanded an apology, retraction of statement, and R500,000 for damages in a legal letter.

Taking to social media, the Amapiano artist posted an apology letter from Sfiso.

“I, Sfiso Ndlovu, would like to issue a public apology to Mr. Kabelo Vincent Mpofu, popularly known as “Uncle Vinny,” for the remarks made during a podcast discussion on PodcastandChillNetwork on
24 September 2024. My statement regarding Mr. Mpofu’s alleged involvement with codeine was made without proper verification, and I now understand that it was both false and defamatory. I
retract my statements fully and unreservedly,” he wrote.

“I apologize for any harm these remarks may have caused to Mr. Mpofu’s reputation, brand, and personal integrity. It was not my intention to slander, humiliate, or cause distress, and I deeply regret the impact that my words have had.”

However, Sfiso is not pleased with Uncle Vinny for posting his personal details, and he’s requested for the removal of the post.

“Additionally, I would like to address the issue of Mr. Mpofu sharing my personal contact details on social media. While respect his right to defend his reputation, I believe that posting my private information was unnecessary and has led to further unintended consequences for me. I kindly request that Mr. Mpofu removes the post containing my personal details from his social media platforms. I hope we can both resolve these matters amicably and respectfully, ensuring that no further harm is caused to either party,” Ndlovu added.
