Sizwe Alakine shows support for Gigi Lamayne
South African rapper Reason, also known as Sizwe Alakine, is celebrating his girlfriend, Gigi Lamayne, following the release of her new album.
Gigi dropped her latest project, Dove and Scones, on Friday, and Sizwe took to social media to show his support, referring to her as his best friend.
“Congratulations, Bestie. What you did here was honest, creative, authentic, and pure. You ticked all the boxes and then added some. I’m proud of you. I’m happy for you. And I’m excited to walk this path with you,” he wrote.
Reason continued, “You are truly one of the greatest of all time. On God. Thank you for being a phenomenal MC… and an incredible artist… at the same damn time. Lord knows many CAN’T do it. Especially for 10 years!!! Special shout-out to God and your ancestors for gracing us with your presence and resilience. You are genuinely my biggest inspiration.”
