Reece Madlisa released lead single, ‘Ndonela’ featuring vocalist, Jabulile, ahead of his forthcoming debut solo EP, ‘Kwaito Nama Medi’. The solo project was announced amidst rumours concerning the Amaroto breakup.
In the song, Reece Madlisa apologizes to his significant other for his ill-treatment towards her and expresses his intentions to work on his attitude and anger issues. However, Jabulile, who warns her partner to stop treating her poorly, reveals that she has had enough as she curses him out in the song’s chorus.
Two weeks ago, Reece Madlisa announced the official release of the EP, highlighting that it’s a project for the women as he captioned, “Dropping lento ephethe abo medi k’phela“.
‘Ndonela’ sets the bar for the upcoming project which drops this Friday.
