‘Yithi Sonke’ is a project led by Robot Boii and Nhlonipho and brings together established and upcoming artists, singer-songwriters, creatives, and producers for a brand new, fresh Amapiano sound.
The project genesis came after the success of the prelude single ‘Ufunani’, where Benza and Robot Boii came together with Ghanaian DJ, Mic Smith to work on something that’s fresh.
The project kicks off with a writing and production camp where all the songs were created and recorded. Mandz Not Hot, Chukido, S.O.N, Ilovelethu, PD Jokes, Titow, Mdoova, Mac lopez, Sphume Da Dj, Teakay, The Alpha Boyz, Sje Konke, RiccoTen88, all pulled up at the camp and this coming together is what led to the project name, ‘Yithi Sonke’.
Fast forward from then to the present moment, two singles, Uxolo and Thandanani have been successfully released together and the full project is set to release on January 27, 2023.
