More drama at the Pretoria High Court as disbarred advocate Malesela Teffo got booted out of court.
Teffo was attempting to address Judge Tshifiwa Maumela but he was quickly dismissed and ordered to leave during the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
Maumela ordered Teffo’s removal just before he delivered judgment on whether the next witness’s testimony should be broadcast live.
Teffo said: “I’m advocate Teffo, I’m appearing on behalf Sfiso Meyiwa the brother of the deceased.”
Judge Maumela responded: “Mr Teffo there’s no Sfiso Meyiwa in this case, your talking about a case I don’t have… and please can you assist Mr Teffo to get out of the courtroom, there’s no Sfiso Meyiwa in this case.”
