It has been over 1 year since we heard new music from Award winning artist, Sho Madjozi and over 2 years since we received a full length project from her as she has been touring the world and having an impact on the Tsonga culture by sharing the dances and language with fans from other countries.
The last time I heard a single by Sho Madjozi has to be when she released ‘John Cena’ of which received global love as John Cena himself found himself dancing to the single live on TV. She has achieved numerous things even in a hiatus from making and releasing music and this goes on to show how loved her music is even in times of silence. She is without a doubt a global star and an icon for South Africa. In her active time, she has gotten to work with Nike on limited edition sneakers as well as bagging a deal with Epic Records directly and this is unheard of as not many artists in our time our able to bag such deals directly if anything, the kids have found a way to move that works for today’s times without the labels.
I was very happy to hear that she is releasing new music as I did see her in studio a couple of weeks ago as I was just passing by to fetch something and boom there she was. I am highly excited to hear this drop as it features Hip-Hop artist from America, DDG and this is a great way to come back. I am excited for next week, are you excited?
