Sizwe Dhlomo breaks silence after Floyd Shivambu’s old accusations resurface amid heated feud
Sizwe Dhlomo found himself once again in the centre of controversy as an old accusation from Floyd Shivambu resurfaced during their explosive online spat on Monday, 23 June 2025.
The two public figures traded jabs on social media, quickly shooting to the top of trending lists as their tension reignited years-old drama.
The feud took a personal turn when Dhlomo dug up a 2015 post in which Shivambu had made serious allegations against him.
At the time, Shivambu claimed that Dhlomo had assaulted a boyfriend, a statement that has since lingered in the shadows until now.
Ironically, this came just after Shivambu claimed he didn’t even know who Dhlomo was, a remark that clearly struck a nerve and prompted the radio personality to remind the internet otherwise.
Amid the commotion, a curious social media user revived the spirit of a viral Ugandan interview by bluntly asking Dhlomo, “Why are you gay?” A question once posed by journalist Simon Kaggwa Njala in a clip that has since become a meme staple.
In typical Dhlomo fashion, he clapped back with a cheeky but calculated response, mimicking the tone of Pepe Julian Onziema from that very same viral moment: “Who says I’m gay?”
While some netizens burst into laughter at Dhlomo’s witty reply, others took the moment to demand receipts.
