Five suspected ATM bombers have been killed in a shootout with police in Emalahleni.
Police said the suspects were fatally wounded in the gun battle in Witbank early on Monday morning.
“Five suspected ATM bombers were fatally wounded and three others arrested in a shootout with the Tactical Management Operational Section (TOMS) DPCI and the SAPS Special Task Force (STF) in Emalahleni, Witbank.
“Five firearms, two rifles, and three pistols were recovered,” police said.
