Musa Mthombeni celebrates 46 months of marriage with wife Liesl Laurie
Dr Musa Mthombeni is celebrating another milestone in his marriage to former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie.
The couple has officially been married for 46 months, and as always, the TV personality and medical doctor didn’t miss the chance to mark their “monthiversary.”
However, this time around, Musa took a more reflective approach, sharing the story of how their love began in the DMs.
He expressed gratitude to Liesl for replying to his message and even gave a humorous shout-out to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg for creating the platform that made it all possible.
“Another month, another monthiversary. Happy 46 months married Liesl Sithandiwe Laurie-Mthombeni. If you hadn’t responded to that DM many months ago, today would be just another Wednesday. But because you did, it’s our monthiversary. It is because you replied to that DM that I now get the chance to give you foot rubs and kiss your ouchies when you get hurt,” he wrote.
He continued: “It is because you replied to that DM I now get to wake you up when you fall asleep on the couch at 18:30 and vehemently deny being asleep, even when the TV characters know you were sleeping! Thank you, Mark Zuckerberg, for my wife. You’ll forever be famous.”
