The reality star and former pro-twerker Faith Nketsi-Njilo left jaws on the floor when she shared her birthing experience on TV.
The latest episode of Have Faith, on MTV (DStv channel 130) on Monday, 17 October, showed her giving birth to her daughter, Sky Njilo.
Faith, who had a water birth at a private hospital in Joburg, was in labour for hours before she introduced her baby. She gave birth in August and has shared many of baby Sky’s big milestones on social media since then. The latest season aimed to show Faith’s life as a mum and wife.
It showed her in a new house, her lobola negotiations, her baby shower, her gender reveal, and the events leading to her becoming a mum.
“Season four has proven to be the best-rated season since the reality series’ debut in 2019 by Paramount Africa,” said MTV in a statement. Speaking about the new season, Faith thanked viewers. “The most empowering experience I have allowed myself to have was sharing my transformation with Africa. Becoming a mother to Sky and wife to Nzuzo has changed my life,” she said.
“Thank you so much to all the viewers who have consistently supported Have Faith.”
Senior vice president and general manager of Paramount Africa, Monde Twala, said this was one of their most thrilling programmes of the year.
“Viewers’ perspectives on what is attainable when one puts their mind to it have been expanded by Faith’s journey as she has evolved into a wife and mother.
“Faith’s courage in fulfilling her dreams has left MTV fans in awe of her womanhood and it has been an honour to be on this journey with her.”
