TrustedSLK returns with a brand new single titled ‘Lendaba’ featuring LusiBlaq. This follows her first feature of the year for the song titled ‘Wassup’ with Polly T. Lendaba is a song that more or less allows Trusted SLK to ‘flex her writing skills’ as she knows that whenever she hops on a song, she is always equipped to do her thing. She further touches on the support from the people around her as she asks them to show their support by standing up if they agree with what she is singing in the hook, hence the line “….If you staaning with me, then pakhamisa…”.
LusiBlaq came with the different vibe as he exposes the entertainment spaces in Cape Town, mainly the promoters as they book artists but for free gigs and he feels that artists break their backs doing majority of the work whilst the promoters are having fun, drinking with their friends. This tends to lead to them at times promising them remuneration and yet nothing. The situation though doesn’t take away the existing talent as they will continue to shine as artists and grow even under those conditions.
This is a must listen to single as it will leave you encouraged to push further in life and get what’s yours even through the hardcore moments that have the power to break you.
