The festival will be held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Tyla is set to make her debut performance at the renowned US festival Coachella.

The highly anticipated festival will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, over three weekends (Friday to Sunday) from 11 to 20 April.

Tyla will perform on Friday, 11 April, and again during the second weekend of the event, on Friday, 18 April.

The 23-year-old South African Grammy winner will share the stage with global icons such as Lady Gaga, Missy Elliott, FKA Twigs, GloRilla, Lisa, and others.

A dream come true for Tyla

Tyla previously shared on social media that she had promised herself the first time she attended Coachella, it would be as a performer.

“Had many opportunities to go but swore to myself that the first time I go to Coachella, [I’m going to] be performing… and look now,” she wrote on X.

She was initially scheduled to make her debut at Coachella last year; however, she cancelled due to an injury.

In March last year, she released a statement announcing that she was cancelling her world tour, including her Coachella performance, as her injury had worsened despite her seeking medical attention.

In the lengthy statement, the Water hitmaker also thanked her fans for their unwavering support throughout her career.

“All of you know that this moment you have all helped me transform into a reality has been a life-long dream. I am so grateful and humbled by this past year and the way it’s changed my life.

“I can never thank you guys enough for all your loving support, all the joy, the laughter, and the wins!”
