After a very long night of waiting for the ‘Tanzania’ visuals to drop, they are officially here and I couldn’t be more excited as I only got the opportunity to watch it this morning do to work duties last night. The visuals for the ‘Mulit-Platinum Certified’ single stand out in a sense that the concept is not really one that is used in today’s music videos as I see she came through with the afro look with the ‘jiggy’ pants from back in the day and this just reminded me of days of ‘Elvis Presley’.
They brought the party to life in the day as it is all a vibe in the visuals and the concept is a true reflection of Uncle Waffles’ interests from the street fighter reference in one of the scenes to the ‘Motorbike’ scene of which I found as ‘bad a$$’ as it gives the music video the edge it needs throughout.
As you continue watching the ‘Tanzania’ Music Video you begin to see your favourite hit makers from the likes of Pabi Cooper to Kamo Mphela and Khanyisa Jaceni of which never missed to bring the energy to the table. The visuals came out right on time as the single on YouTube is currently sitting on ‘5.9 Million’ streams which is impressive as the tape only dropped 6 Months ago. They definitely know how to celebrate a milestone with another milestone to come.
For first visuals, they did set a great standard and I know that they can only take it higher moving forward as it seems to be the only direction that they are going. I am excited to see what else she will be doing throughout the course of the year as she has been busy with a lot of things from gigs overseas to having a residency on ‘BBC Radio’ of which is a first of it’s kind to happen in South Africa so all hands applaud for her as a lot has been penned in her journey and she is definitely an artist to watch out for as she continues to evolve by the day and so does the vision.
