Veteran actor Vusi Thanda thanks supporters after helping to raise R100 K through donations

Legendary actor Vusi Thanda, who is famously known for his roles in The Queen and eMzini Wezinsizwa has thanked South Africans for donating R100 000.

Few days ago, the star appealed to the public for financial assistance.

The actor even shared his banking details and thanked people in advance for their generosity.

However, good Samaritans responded by transferring money to his Capitec account as he was behind with his rent and owed his landlord R45 000 rent.

In the video, Thanda says: “I want to thank everyone who has responded to my call asking for help. Please do the same to others who need it.
