Veteran broadcaster Jeremy Mansfield has died at the age of 59. He had liver cancer and had revealed in August that the diagnosis was terminal.
Mansfield appeared on various radio and TV shows during his career. These included 702 and 94.7. He was the host of the TV game show ‘A Word or 2’, which ran for 10 seasons, and the TV comedy show ‘Laugh out Loud’.
Tributes are pouring in on social media, including one from that his close friend Sam Cowen, who confirmed his passing.
Hard to believe that Jeremy Mansfield has passed on. ‘Larger than life’ does not do him justice. A totally unique person on and off the radio. Hamba kahle old mate.
