Has South Africa’s most successful track athlete, Caster Semenya, run her last race?

It would seem that way after World Athletics’ latest ruling on gender and who can and can’t run what events.

Semenya’s been fighting a battle for years and now it appears she’s run her last race for South Africa.

In this week’s sport podcast, host Trevor Cramer discusses the Semenya/World Athletics issue with athletics writer Wesley Botton.

They also discuss the return to action of Wayde van Niekerk and who to look out for at the SA Athletics Championships happening in Potchefstroom.

Also in this week’s podcast, we discuss the Proteas‘ latest T20 series against the West Indies and their next assignment, an ODI series against the Netherlands.

Also, it’s a big weekend for the SA rugby teams playing in Europe, in the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup competitions.

In studio with Cramer this week is head of sport, Jacques van deer Westhuyzen.

Have a listen.
