Here’s what to expect in your province on Friday, 23 May:

Gauteng:

Residents of Gauteng can expect morning fog in places, otherwise conditions will be fine and cool.

Mpumalanga:

Mpumalanga residents can expect morning fog over the highveld, otherwise it will be fine and cool but warm in places over the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

The day will start with morning fog in places in the south, otherwise it will be fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the extreme north-east.

North West:

Fine and cool weather awaits North West residents.

Free State:

Residents will experience cloudy weather in the east at first, otherwise it will be fine and cool.

Northern Cape:

The day will be fine and cool to warm, but windy over the north-western interior.

Western Cape:

Western Cape residents can expect morning fog over the southern and south-western parts, otherwise conditions will be fine and cool to warm.

Eastern Cape (western half):

Expect morning fog in the south, otherwise conditions will be fine and cool.

Eastern Cape (eastern half):

The day will start with morning fog in the north, otherwise it will be fine and cold to cool.

KwaZulu-Natal:

Residents of KwaZulu-Natal can expect morning fog in the central and western interior, otherwise conditions will be fine and cool to cold.

The region’s expected UVB sunburn index is “high”.

Residents should take the necessary precautions against prolonged sun exposure.
