The Cape Town based Nigerian rapper and producer, Yaweh has recently dropped a new single titled, ‘Lagos City’.
Yaweh who makes music with a combination of trap soul, rap and drill is influenced from West African rhythms which he incorporates into his music.
His new single ‘Lagos City’ is a fusion of UK drill music and Afro beat melodies. In this song he raps about the toughness of the street of ‘LASGIDI’ AKA ‘Lagos City’ and how you have to be resilient to make it on the streets.
He talks about the everyday life of the common man in ‘Lagos City’ and how you have to hustle for daily bread.
Yaweh hopes this song inspires young hustlers to keep pushing and always be on their grinds.
